When we moved from Drupal to Liferay back in 2020, sadly we didn't have time to migrate our old blogs to the new platform. In our logs, we still see hits for these old URLs, and we have decided to make a concerted effort to resurrect these old blogs for those who find them useful. For most of the popular blogs, we are managing to get the original article content back and repost, predominantly unmodified except for URLs and other minor changes for the migration. So please bear in mind the content may now be a little dated, especially since the articles were already old when we migrated.
Unfortunately we cannot recover all of the blog posts. This is one of them. The post on the time when we extended Alfresco Share to add an action to be able to directly email documents from Alfresco Share, rather than having to download them and then attach them to emails, is one of them. Although we still use Alfresco, Alfresco Share is now deprecated but still supported, and effort is being put into the Alfresco Developer Framework. Can't say I will miss Surf.
